Windward Key Special Events

There are more local special events in the Towns of Chesapeake Beach, North Beach and Calvert County than we have space to include on this website. We have included links to the Towns websites in the "Local Area" tab so be sure to visit that tab if you want to get more details on thoses areas. The following are some of the Special Events that are specifically related to Windward Key; some are strictly for the community residents and others somewhat related to our location.

Fourth of July Fireworks 

Chesapeake Beach has an annual Fireworks display that is one of the finest in the State and it happens to occur in our backyard. You can enjoy the festivities and fireworks right from the beach or your deck, if you live right next to the Bay.  Fireworks are held weather permitting.  Check the Calendar of Events for details.
